If you’re looking for valentine crafts, I recommend making painted heart valentines. Each of these valentines is unique because the design is created using red and white paint to create pink swirls. These painted heart valentines are fun, easy and great for classroom valentine exchanges!
Here’s What You Need to Make Painted Heart Valentines:
- White paper (We used printer paper because it was handy.)
- Scissors
- Red paint
- White paint
- Cotton swabs
- Markers or crayons
Here’s How to Make Painted Heart Valentines:
1. Cut out hearts from the white paper.
2. Using a cotton swab, dab red paint on the paper heart.
3. Using another cotton swab, dab white paint on the paper heart.
(We got creative by dabbing stripes, dots and squiggly lines on our painted hearts.)
4. Fold the heart in half so the edges meet.
5. Unfold the heart to see the pink swirl created by blending the red and white paint.
(We had fun unveiling our designs to each other!)
6. Once the paint is dry, write valentine messages on the hearts.
