BlogJolt IV - Whitney + Heather’s RookieMoms Blog
Welcome to week 4 BlogJolters! This week we are working feverishly to jolt Whitney and Heather’s RookieMoms Blog. The story of RookieMoms:
“When I was on maternity leave after my son was born, I was surprised and embarrassed to find out how boring spending all day with a tiny baby could be. I fancy myself a pretty creative person and didn’t think I should be at a loss for what to do. I started RookieMoms.com with a friend when we challenged ourselves to come up with one activity for every day of the first year of a baby’s life. The activities are meant to be enjoyable for mom and help her get out of the house. We consider it a quirky guide to the first year of motherhood.”
Jolt away, everyone!

The time alone reminder came at a good time for me. Sound advice and presented well (LOVE the graphics!). I posted at http://lawmummy.typepad.com/mommy_grows_up/2006/08/time_alone.html

Wish this site was around when my kids were little. I hope they keep coming up with activities for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary aged kids too as their children get older. See my post at http://mamarant.blogs.com/mamacooks/2006/08/baby_eating_act.html.

Since my blog is more business oriented, I had to find something more related to that. I was thrilled to find a post about the photo stamps to share with my group.
You can see that here:

I’ll go comment on your blog now too Heather and Whitney.

Hey Rookie Moms…thanks for the inspiration for my post today! Went off on a tangent about music as soul food after raeding yours about “listening to music on a different channel”…you guys ROCK!

Hi, I was a little late posting for you (jolt, jolt, jolting, jone) but used your writing the list as an example of a cognitive-behavioral technique for anxiety. Hope you like it! Keep on blogging, you’re wonderful. Best, TherapyDoc
