MVPs for Friday February 9th

Although I don’t get the chance to do my MVP post every Friday, I have read some REALLY great posts this week, so indeed, they MUST be shared. :)

Neil Patel threw down the gauntlet in a sheerly brilliant linkbait/PR push that is a textbook example of how to get massive attention and links that will promote both his site and his business.
Neil has openly challenged A-Lister Jason Calcanis to an SEO match - Neil claims he can increase Jason’s natural search traffic by 10-20% in 30 days with no black-hat tricks. Jason stands to eat his words if Neil wins.

Do you think I could get away with the same by offering Lindsay Lohan an NLP intervention to finally conquer her addictions? Hhhhmmmm……

Andy Wibbels put together an inspiring and heart-warming interview with Glenda Watson Hyatt, who is not only the newest blogger added to my feed reader, she’s my new hero too! (THANK you Andy for this post!!!!!)

Glenda has cerebral palsy, yet with how she shows up in life, she can teach all of us a thing or two about overcoming obstacles and living life to the fullest. Find out more in her book, I’ll Do It Myself.

*UPDATE*
Glenda is stopping by eMoms at Home on her Virtual Book Tour this Tuesday the 13th! Drop by for a little blogging and entrepreneurial inspiration that day and give her a warm welcome!

Steve Olson’s wife Christine just landed a lease to finally realize a dream - to bring her online bookstore into the brick and mortar world. I’m SO happy for both of you - and congratulations Christine!!

Ponn Sabra dropped by for the first time this week, and I found a kindred spirit in her blog, Empowering Women Right Now. She also recently landed a column in a major Toledo newspaper - what a great accomplishment. Way to go, Ponn!
