A friendly place to find help & encourage one another

What a truly crazy week. Even I am surprised I was able to blog daily. In the last 7 days, I have been to a wedding, hosted a baby shower, been to a formal holiday party at Chicago’s Adler Planetarium, and I’m wrapping up this post asap to get ready for my husband’s work holiday party tonight. All I can say is that I’m REALLY looking forward to doing next to nothing this weekend!

Now, I know your weeks are just as crazed as mine are in December, but there are STILL Most Valuable Posts to be read this week! And they are valuable indeed!

Yesterday John Jantsch of Duct Tape Marketing fame put out a call for Single Mom Entrepreneurs - he wants to send 25 of you super-heros a book and he’s tinkering with the idea of an interview series. WAY cool - kudos to you John for a great idea!!!

Organizing Diva Ariane Benefit put up a fabulous post on 20 Tips for Easy Decorating, Gift-Giving, Card Sending, and Entertaining. My favorite tip? “Finally, give up the myth of the perfect holiday!”

And finally, Alexander over at The Chief Happiness Officer reminds us all that even though we want to be productive during the holidays, conscious procrastination is truly an absolute must - so here are his tips to ensure that the things you put off, you can actually put off effectively and without guilt!
